Using two factor for both login and account recovery is essential in securing your account against unauthorised activity. Enabling two-factor is the best security feature that you can enable to protect your account and we highly recommend it.
How to enable two-factor login:
- Log into your NewBanking Identity account
- Go to settings (or click this direct link: https://newbanking.com/me/#/settings)
- Click the "Add" button under "Two-step verification for login"
- Choose to either use a phone number or an authentication app. NewBanking recommends the authentication app (Google Authenticator or Authy are two excellent options).
