When creating an access, then the name and e-mail will always be part of the access. The phone will often also be part of the access.
Phone number
A phone number on the NewBanking system has to be a mobile phone, so that it can receive text messages.
How to add a phone number:
- Choose the correct country(and thereby country code) in the country selector. Click the flag to open the country selector.
- Type your number. The system will format the number after you have typed it.
- Click "Verify" to verify the phone number.
- An SMS has now been sent, and will arrive to your phone briefly. Normally it takes seconds for the SMS to arrive, but it can take up to 15 minutes. Enter the SMS code and click confirm.
- Your phone number has now been verified and you may proceed.
You can add another email if you want to share a different email.
How to add another email address:
- Click the pencil/edit symbol.
- A dropdown will appear. Open the dropdown menu.
- Choose the "Add new email" option
- Enter the email and click "Verify".
- An email has now been sent, and will arrive to your email briefly. Normally it takes less than a minute for the email to arrive, but on some systems it may take up to 8 hours. Enter the email code and click confirm.
- Your new email has now been verified and you may proceed.
Name
You can select and add the name that you want to share. If you see a name that you have not entered, then it might have been extracted through e.g. an ID document (passport, driver's license, etc.) or a NemID verification.
How to add and select a name:
- Click the pencil/edit symbol.
- A dropdown will appear. Open the dropdown menu.
- Choose the "Add new email" option or select the name that you want to share.
- If you have chosen to add a new, you can then type it here. Click save and it is then ready for the access.
